Annesha Akelia, Founder
Annesha is of Jamaican descent and hails from the Bronx, N.Y. In 2012, she relocated to Georgia and currently resides in Buckhead, G.A. She is the proud mother of three and is an advocate for women, especially single mothers. With an impressively diverse set of talents and skills, Annesha has gained national and international experience in various roles including; event planning, hosting, creative directing, styling, cosmetology, branding, marketing, content creating, interior and event decorating, catering and more. Currently holding the title of an Healthcare Activities Coordinator for a five star senior living community and having many talents under her belt, Annesha unapologetically embraces them all, while effortlessly proving that she is one of one. Her unwavering passion for giving back, enriching the lives of others and curating memorable events has all played a vital role in the vision, birth and execution of Hyperemesis Gravidarum Hope & Support Inc.
Chastidee Davis-Wright, Board Member
Chastidee Davis-Wright is a senior marketing and communications professional with over two decades of combined experience within entertainment and healthcare non-profit. She is the Founder & Creative Director of Apple Wind Palm LLC, a wellness brand that aims to build a diverse and engaging community through the exchange of cultural wellness best practices, while amplifying the voices and experiences of the Caribbean diaspora.
Alicia Wade-Board Member, RN, Nurse Educator
Alicia Wade is a dedicated nurse educator with experience as a postpartum, labor and delivery and long-term care nurse. A proud Air Force Veteran, Alicia has honed in on her leadership and training skills while serving, fostering a committee to excellence and service. Her journey began with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Duke University, Masters degree in Healthcare Administration and currently working on her Masters of Science in Nursing Informatics. Now as a Nurse Educator, Alicia is passionate about mentoring the next generation of nurses, blending clinical expertise with a focus on compassionate patient-centered care.
